Peppers/Cauliflower etc;
Prepare selected vegetable, wash and
clean, ensure no closed spaces (i.e.; slash or prick peppers).
Pack into preserving bottles.
Blanch in boiling water for not more than 5 minutes
Drain,
Add to each bottle, 1 T/sp salt, 1 clove garlic,
Fill with equal quantities of oil and vinegar.
Let stand for a while to allow the air to escape and the hollow space to
fill then top up and close.
Ready after one day.
Note!
For added flavor add pickling spice or sprig of dunya or dill weed to each
bottle.
