Picnic Loaf

Method

Mix the filling well together and pack into the scooped loaf.

Chill for a few hours

Serve with Stuffed Tomatoes 

or

Slice into thick rings and serve with salad and cold dry white wine.

Ingredients

French loaf (Baguette)
Cut off ends & scoop out center

FILLING
One stick of butter
Half cup diced lamb  (cooked)
Half cup diced ox tongue (cooked)
1 hard boiled egg yolk
Half cup diced cheese
Half tsp. capers
1/4 cup chopped pistachio nuts
1 anchovy fillet
2 tsp. mustard
salt and pepper
