OUMA's VETKOEK
Method
Mix to a stiff dough,
Roll out approx. 6mm thick and cut into triangle shapes,
drop into boiling lard and oil mixture
They will swell up and when golden brown remove to drain
FILLING
Slit side of pastry envelope,
Fill with jam or fruit mince mixture
NOTE
Also good with savory filling of stew or curry
